Review of Summit 06:
Participants at the Summit chose from 3 scenarios to participate in: the Apprentices were asked to create a product or service for college students; Bay Area Event Planners were asked to create an event that would bring the CSUEB campus together as a community; Change the World groups were asked to create an organization that would change the world, one step at a time. Throughout the group work, evaluators were on hand to give students feedback on teamwork attributes and leadership contributions; completing the 360-degree feedback, students also received comments from their peers, on the day of the Summit.
“The volunteer business representatives were insightful and helpful,” said business administration junior Tomas Santiago, who is also an officer in CSUEB’s Foresight Business Group. “Our group leader gave my group lots of feedback on our presentation and seemed genuinely interested in our work.” read more!
