CSU East Bay Faculty Members,
The Career Development Center (CDC) recognizes the important role faculty members play and the influential clout they possess in the career education and development of our students. As a result we have developed this webpage to support you in this educational endeavor.
The links below highlight some of the CDC's services and educational resources. We encourage you to review these links, to use them yourselves and to refer them to your students. Please remember that we are always looking for new ways to collaborate with faculty members to help students clarify and attain their career goals. In particular, we welcome any opportunity to visit your classes to present on career-related issues like resume writing, the job search, the job market, career decision making, networking or interviewing.
Finally, if you decide to incorporate a CDC program or service into your course syllabus through either required or extra credit assignments, please contact me first to make sure that we can accommodate your students in a timely manner and provide efficient and effective service. Should you have any questions regarding the CDC, please contact me at 510.885.2139.
Classroom presentations are tailored to your curriculum and student organization meetings to teach various areas of career development such as job search strategies, resume development, and interviewing skills.
