WorkAbility-IV ProgramThe WorkAbility-IV (WA-IV) is a specialized program of the Career Development Center (CDC) at California State University, East Bay (CSUEB) that provides pre-employment services for students and alumni with disabilities who are registered clients of the California Department of Rehabiltation
The program is dedicated to establishing and meeting student/consumer career development, psychological, and educational needs; providing disability management, accommodations, wellness training; creating job readiness and job search skills; securing internships and jobs; and educating the employing communities to ensure successful transition of consumers into the employment market.

The mission of the California Department of Rehabilitation is to work in Partnership with consumers and other stakeholders to provide service and advocacy resulting in employment, independent living, and equality for individuals with disabilities.
The Department of Rehabilitation funds four separate vocational programs:
- Workability I - High Schools
- Workability II - Adult Educational Schools and Regional Occupation Programs (ROP)
- Workability III - Community Colleges
- Workability IV - Four-Year Accredited Universities
