CDC StaffBen ServinoBen Servino is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where he earned his B.S. degree in Graphic Communications with a double option in Graphic Design/Printing Management. He is currently pursuing a M.S. degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from SDSU's Interwork Institute.
Ben served as the Project Director for the Assistive Technology Resource and Training Center at the University of Guam (UOG) prior to relocating back to California in 2001. He has extensive experience in the field of disabilities, having worked as a Special Education Instructor and Consulting Resource Teacher with the Guam Department of Education (DOE), as the Executive Director for the Guam Developmental Disabilities Planning Council (GDDPC), the Executive Director for the Governor's Commission on Persons with Disabilities (GCPWD), and as the Accessible Information Technology Coordinator for the Pacific Disability and Business Technical Assistance Center (DBTAC)in Berkeley, CA.
Ben is a current member of the Alameda County Transition Into Occupations Network (ACTION), Bay Area Job Developers Consortium (BAJDC), Institute for Mental Health and Wellness Education (IMHWE), CSUEB Asian and Pacific Islander Faculty and Staff Association (APIFSA), and the San Lorenzo Lions Club.
